The nerv racking meeting of the Wizard left Elphaba full of excitement and questions. As they walked in to meet the Wonderful Wizards, Elphaba and G'linda were slightly scared. This big, noisy creature stood in the mist. When they got close, they realized it was just a robot that was controlled by a tiny, dorky guy. He wanted to explore Elphaba's power, so he gave her a spell book. Although she didnt't know what she was reading, she could read it. The wizard claimed she had a bad power, and declared her a witch. Technically he new this would happen. All Elphaba wanted was to be known, and she couldn't do anything about it now. The Wizard and the town of Oz were out to kill her, so all she could really do was become a witch and fly somewhere where no one could find her.
