Ok, So you all should know that I am reading the Novel Wicked, by Gregory Maguire. The book is from the Broadway show, which is about the Wicked Witch of the West ( from The Wizard of Oz) I love the show, and this is what inspired me to read the book. At the very beginning, you learn that Elphba, who has a condition of being green because her mother had an affair ( and concieved) with an elf.
Huh, Green elfs! Sounds like an interesting book... I am not entirely clear on the story, you should add some more blogs with details! :)
ReplyDeleteBut, since the mother was white, I presume, and the elf was green, then Elphba is light green? Kind of like Janie is TEWWG? Does her color ever effect her life or the way people treat her? And what does she look like, a human or an elf?
